The advantages are in line with the requirements of environmental protection policies, but the disadvantages are the large amount of labor.

At present, the technology of water washing and water soaking should be changed to dry cleaning. In many areas, the use of blister manure technology is limited and cannot pass the EIA. Therefore, the recent large-scale pig farm projects began to consider the use of mechanical scraping.

  Mechanical defecation is a kind of defecation method, which uses electric power to drive the defecation plate and empties the trench several times a day. In form, it can be divided into flat scraper and v-scraper. The flat scraper is relatively simple in technology, the excrement and urine are scraped out of the house together, and the dry and wet separation is not realized in the house, so the dry and wet separation equipment needs to be added later. Due to the small slope of the trench, the urine is easy to volatilize, and the relative air quality is poor. At present, the domestic mechanical scraping equipment is mainly V-shaped scraper. V-shaped scraper can realize dry and wet separation in the shed, urine can be discharged quickly by using gradient, and volatilization is relatively small, but the construction accuracy is required to be higher than that of flat scraper. If the precision of trench bottom is not ideal, it will affect the subsequent fecal scraping effect and increase the failure rate. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the construction quality control of the trench in the pig house with mechanical scraping board, especially V-shaped scraping board.

  The installation and use of the automatic defecation system can save labor, reduce water consumption and sewage discharge, reduce the concentration of pollutants in sewage, reduce the accumulation of harmful gases in the house, and improve the growth and welfare of pigs.

  From the point of view of labor, efficiency and benefit, the installation of mechanized defecation system can save a lot of labor and realize the modernization and mechanized production. In the aspect of environment, we should reasonably set the size and facilities of the enclosure, make full use of the pig's fixed-point excretion behavior, and realize the cleaning and defecation; the automatic control system regularly and timely scrapes the manure, reducing the water consumption for flushing the enclosure, reducing the water consumption and sewage discharge. The timely cleaning of feces not only improves the growing environment in the pigsty, but also reduces the incidence of the disease.
